Benefits: 

Pears contain a lot of fibre, which is essential for a healthy digestive system. When you eat a pear, your body absorbs glucose, which is converted into energy. Eating a pear can be a great pick-me-up if you feel sluggish in the afternoon. 

Pears are low in calories, low in fat and can be purchased from any supermarket.

Contains: 

fibre, vitamin C, vitamin K.

Best eaten : 

Fresh or mixed into other fruits to make a tasty and refreshing fruit salad
